Rock on! Slash honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Former Guns N’Roses guitarist Slash was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on July 10. The rocker, seen here with his sons London Emilio and Cash Anthony, wore his trademark black hat as he accepted the honor.

Charlie Sheen came to give his support for Slash. “It’s quite fitting I think that Slash is getting a star on the very street that Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on,” Sheen told the laughing crowd.

“I’ve been a part of the Hollywood fabric for a long time and to actually be appreciated by the city of Hollywood is a huge, huge honor,” said Slash, who just released a solo album. “And so I want to thank everybody for this. It’s unbelievable.”
