Grammy-winning music superstars Rihanna, Kanye West, T.I., Cher, Josh Groban and Herbie Hancock joined superheroes Tobey Maquire (Spiderman) and Brandon Routh (Superman), Tobey’s pregnant wife Jennifer Mayer Maguire, camera-shy Leonardo DiCaprio, power couple David Arquette and Courteney Cox, David’s sister actress Rosanna Arquette, hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons and girlfriend/model Porschla Coleman, celebrity chef Sara Gore, socialite Lily Collins, actress Alicia Witt and boyfriend Josiah Early at the RIAA Inaugural Ball on January 20, 2009. All along the red carpet the stars gushed with joy and optimism about the Inauguration of President Barack Obama and the evident love between First Lady Michelle Obama and her husband. Inside hot Washington, D.C. club Ibiza the stars raised champagne toasts in celebration while Rihanna performed a 4 song set including a cover of M.I.A.’s hit “Paper Planes”. The Recording Industry Association of America’s Inaugural ball benefited Feeding America, a non profit charity consisting of a national network of food banks and food rescue organizations.
