Kanye West and Russell Simmons join Occupy Wall Street demonstrators

Kanye West gave his support to the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators in New York’s Zuccotti Park in New York City.

Russell Simmons also gave his support to the cause, saying he is a member of the wealthy 1% and he would be willing to pay more taxes. “I’m happy to pay a little more taxes if it means better education for our children,” he said. “I don’t pay enough taxes and I know it.”

Simmons, who appeared on Al Sharpton’s radio show which was broadcasted from the park, gave props to the demonstrators, calling them “future leaders.”
