Florence and the Machine appeared on Good Morning America and sang some of their hit songs, including Dog Days Are Over, Cosmic Love and You’ve Got the Love.

Florence Welch said that their band named started as a joke between her and the keyboard player, Isabella Summers.

“It’s funny because it kind of started as a private joke between me and Isabella over here,” she said. “This is Isa Machine, the original Isa Machine. And I was Florence Robot. So the first name for the band was actually Florence Robot/Isa Machine, but that’s really long.”

Florence and the Machine’s first album, Lungs, has sold over 2 million copies.
