Cyndi Lauper celebrates “Kinky Boots” premiere with Kinky Liqueur

Pop icon Cyndi Lauper shows off her playful side in floral pants as she celebrates the world premiere of Kinky Boots the Musical in Chicago with Kinky Liqueur, which is the official drink of the Broadway-bound musical. Lauper wrote the lyrics and the music to the show, which was based on the book by Tony Award-winning playwright Harvey Fierstein.

Singer/songwriter Alexa Ray Joel, who is the daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley, was spotted at a promotion for Kinky Boots during Fashion’s Night Out in New York City in September. Kinky Boots runs through November 4 in Chicago and will open on Broadway in April 2013.
