Celebs rock the Black Women in Music event

Janelle Monae showed off her cool style and trademark pompadour ‘do during the 2nd Annual Black Women in Music event at Playhouse in Los Angeles where she was honored for her music. P. Diddy, Leona Lewis and Big Boi also toasted Janelle Monae at the event which was sponsored by Essence magazine.

Leona Lewis stepped out in another dress of her own design.
