The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, caused chaos when he arrived for The Promise: The Making Of Darkness On The Edge Of Town premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. The documentary contains studio footage filmed during the recording of Darkness, Bruce Springsteen’s 1978 follow-up to Born to Run.

Bruce Springsteen performed at a special concert at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey, which benefited struggling students at Boston College, where his son attends.
