Ryan Reynolds and the Green Lantern light up Comic-Con

Ryan Reynolds will star in the upcoming Green Lantern, based on the DC Comics series about a test pilot who is given a supernatural ring granting him special powers. Green Lantern is highly anticipated but fans will have to wait until June 2011. At the Comic-Con event, Ryan Reynolds gave away his ring to one lucky winner in the audience.
Gossip Girl star Blake Lively portrays the Green Lantern’s love interest and perhaps eventual supervillain, Carol Ferris.
