Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Shell Cottage getting finishing touches!

The finishing touches are put on ‘Shell Cottage’ for filming of the final Harry Potter Film – ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ on location on a beach in West Wales.
Shell Cottage is the home of Bill Weasely and Fluer Delacour who were married, during Harry Potter’s 7th year. This is also the place where Dobby is laid to rest after the battle at Malfoy Manor. The cottage is used as a safe house and one point Ron spends Christmas there after fighting with Hermoine and Harry and abandoning them.While Harry Potter is at Shell Cottage, Remus Lupin arrives at one point to announce the birth of his son Teddy and make Harry Potter his god father.

Fun Facts about Shell Cottage:
Dobby transports everyone to safety to Shell Cottage after the battle at Malfoy Manor where Hermoine Granger was tortured by Bellatrix Lestrange.
Shell Cottage was used by the Weasley family and members of the Order of the Phoenix during the Second Wizarding War as a hide out of sorts.
Fluer and Bill supposedly raised their three children at Shell Cottage.
Dobby’s grave was made by hand by Harry and marked with “Here Lies Dobby, A Free Elf”
Harry was also made the god-father of Remus Lupin and Nympadora Tonks son Teddy while he was seeking shelter at the Shell Cottage.
