Dakota Fanning at the 20th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards
Dakota Fanning at the 20th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards at the Palm Springs Convention Center in California.
Dakota Fanning is a very talented young lady although her parents have been criticized for her most recent movie “The Secret Life of Bees” in which her character is raped in a scene. Personally I wasn’t a fan of it either having a child close to her age. However I have done allot of reading on it and its allot of camera manipulation so the poor girl doesn’t actually have to be traumatized by a fake rape scene.
Dakota Fanning currently is 14 years old, she is on the Varsity Cheer leading team at her school and with that she has a few more movies coming out :
Winged Creatures: While in a restaurant, Carla Davenport (Kate Beckinsale), Charlie Archenault (Forest Whitaker), Bruce Laraby (Guy Pearce), Anne Hagen (Dakota Fanning) and her best friend Jimmy Jasperson (Josh Hutcherson) suddenly hear gunshots. Anne’s father, Anne and Jimmy retreat under a table to watch a suicidal gunman shoot several people (including Anne’s father) and then himself. This is what causes the trauma between the five that survived the murder. The movie follows these five traumatized people as they struggle to regain their trust in the ordinary world.
Push:: This sci-fi thriller involves a group of young American expatriates with telekinetic, telepathic, and clairvoyant abilities, hiding from a clandestine U.S. government agency referred to as “Division.” They try to find the only woman that ever escaped from “Division”. She is their only key to finding out how to escape the agency. They must also use their different talents and band together for a final job enabling them to escape the agency forever.

I thought Hound Dog was the movie she was “raped” in, not Secret Life of Bees

Yes, Hounddog was the film where Dakota Fanning played a rape victim.
