Maria Menounos and Stephanie Pratt at Friends of LA Animal Shelters party

Extra host Maria Menounos was honored for her outstanding contributions to Los Angeles animals at the Friends of L.A. Animal Shelters Launch Party, hosted by K-9′s Only West. Celebrity guests, including Allison Janney, Ashlan Gorse, Elisabetta Canalis and Melissa Rycroft, bid on items with all proceeds going to animal shelters in need of funds.

Menounos, wearing Chanel shoes and Nola Singer jewelry, brought her dog of 12 years named Apollo. She saved this adorable dog after his previous owner tossed him out of a moving car.

The Hills star Stephanie Pratt showed her support at the friends of LA Animal Shelter Launch at K-9′s Only Shelter. Pratt had a hard time leaving without a new puppy, however she already has a cute dog named Charlie.
