Leighton Meester films Gossip Girl in to-die for fashions

Leighton Meester is spotted on the first day of shooting the new season of Gossip Girl in Manhattan. Fans and paparazzi reportedly swarmed the set all day as filming took place.

Meester, as well as Penn Badgley and French actress Roxana Mesquida were all on set filming scenes today. Meester plays Blair Waldorf, while Mesquida plays her meddling future sister-in-law.

Meester waved and greeted fans who came to catch a glimpse of the fabulous fashions of Gossip Girl.
