Lady Gaga’s meat dress and other fashions at the 2010 VMAs!
Even Lady Gaga, who is known for her outrageous fashions, made headlines when she accepted the award for Video of the Year at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. Lady Gaga stunned viewers in her outlandish Franc Fernandez meat dress and even asked Cher to hold her “meat purse!” According to USA Today, Lady Gaga taped an interview with Ellen DeGeneres (which airs today) and explained, “If we don’t stand up for what we believe in and if we don’t fight for our rights pretty soon we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones. And, I am not a piece of meat.”
Lady Gaga arrived on the white carpet of the 2010 VMAs in this dress from the last collection of the late designer Alexander McQueen. Not only did she make a statement with her dress, Lady Gaga also made a political statement when she was accompanied by gay men and women who had been ousted from the military due to their sexuality.
Lady Gaga held up her dress to reveal these insane Alexander McQueen armadillo shoes. How could she even walk in these?
Lady Gaga accepted an award from the Glee cast at the 2010 VMAs channeling a goth Lady Liberty in this Armani Liberty dress.

So, by the end of the evening did Lady gaga’s meat dress turn into a blow-fly suit? At least that should keep her cool with all those little flies flapping their tiny wings. Come to think of it, she could get another whole new look the following day in a maggot ensemble.

My wife has a knock-off of Lady Gaga’s meat dress. It is made of ground meat and hamburger helper.

I like Lady Gaga’s fashions. They’re unique and even though you can’t wear the meat dress in public, it got people talking.
