When the newly engaged Jessica Simpson arrived at JFK airport with her fiance, Eric Johnson, she flashed her ring bling before heading to a promotional appearance for her new Christmas album, Happy Christmas. Jessica Simpson chatted about her engagement on The Early Show, saying she was completely surprised and that she “actually had to sit on his knee ’cause I was so shocked…He had it planned a long time ago.”

Jessica Simpson departed from The Early Show where she also gushed about her new fiance saying, “He’s the best man in my life…He is just really thoughtful. Keeps me very centered.”
