These 3 beautiful ladies might be familiar to you if you have ever seen the hit television shows ER ( Julianna Margulies), Law and Order: SVU (Stephanie March) and Crossing Jordan ( Jill Hennessy).  These women of course might also be familiar to you with various roles they have played over the years. Recently Julianna Marguiles made an appearance on one of the last episodes of ER alongside George Clooney but she has also been seen on The Sopranos, and various other parts and TV movies. Stephanie March can also be seen on “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and also this year on Rescue Me as a psychic. Jill Hennessy is no stranger to the show Law and Order either , she also played Jordan Cavnaugh on Crossing Jordan for 6 seasons, which was cancelled in 2007 by NBC, and played the wife of Tim Allen’s character in “Wild Hogs”.

Hilary Duff and Mariska Hargitay filming ‘Law and Order’ in New York City.

Teen star and pop singer Hilary Duff appearing on Law and Order: SVU no doubt a spot to get her more “out there on tv” for when her new television show hits the screen titled “Barely Legal” and is based on the true story of Kathleen Holtz, who passed the California bar exam in 2007 at age 18 to become the state’s youngest lawyer..

Law and Order: SVU is centered on Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni’s characters “Benson and Stabler” who work in the Special Victim’s Unit in New York City, a department that deals with sexually based crimes.  The show can be seen on the network NBC and stars Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni, Ice-T, Dann Florek, Adam Beach, Diane Neal, and B.D Wong.

You can also catch Hilary Duff on “The Ghost Whisperer” rumor has it she might be appearing in more than one episode!

The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

 The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards  were held on September 21st and held at the brand new Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California. They were hosted by Ryan Seacrest, Tom Bergeron, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel,and Jeff Probst. All 5 hosts were nominated for Outstanding Host for a Reality Show or Reality Competition. For the first time in the  Emmy Awards  history they announced in advance  ten finalists for Outstanding Comedy and Drama Series categories. Award presenters were  America Ferrera, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Vanessa Williams and Hayden Panettiere. A few of the winners through the night were Jeremy Piven, Laura Linney, Sydney Pollack, Tom Wilkinson, and Alec Baldwin.
