Courteney Cox goofed around on set with her on-screen son played by Dan Byrd while filming her show Cougar Town. The duo was spotted on a beach in Santa Monica, where they frolicked in the waves, built sand castles and flew a kite for the ABC comedy.

ABC’s Wednesday night comedy lineup is capped off tonight with a new episode of Cougar Town called No Reason to Cry. Courteney Cox and Brian Van Holt goofed around on the set of their hit show with the mismatched title, Cougar Town. Along with their Cougar Town co-stars, Courteney Cox and Brian Van Holt, who play a divorced couple, filmed scenes in Marina Del Rey, which involved a sinking boat.
