The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards

The Primetime Emmy Awards held in 2008 were held on September 21st and held at the brand new Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. They were hosted by Ryan Seacrest, Tom Bergeron, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel,and Jeff Probst. All 5 hosts were nominated for Outstanding Host for a Reality Show or Reality Competition. For the first time in the  Primetime Emmy Awards history they announced in advance  ten finalists for Outstanding Comedy and Drama Series categories.Presenters were Christina Applegate, Candice Bergen, Jimmy Kimmel, Kiefer Sutherland. A few of the winners through the night were ŽELJKO IVANEK, Laura Linney , Tina Fey , Dame Eileen Atkins, and Glenn Close.

Fun Facts about Marcia Cross - Marcia Cross was well known for her role on “Melrose Place” playing the character Dr. Kimberly Shaw in the 1990’s.  Marcia Cross also has a degree in Psychology and graduated from the Juilliard School in New York. Marcia Cross has appeared in television shows such as “Everwood” Cheers, Knots Landing and Touched by an Angel” to name a few.
