In London, Simon Cowell posed with Katie Piper in support of the Katie Piper Foundation launch. Katie Piper is a former model whose ex-boyfriend arranged to have acid thrown in her face in 2008. After numerous surgeries, Katie Piper has emerged as an advocate and supporter for burn victims and set up the Katie Piper Foundation.

Everyone’s favorite judge, Simon Cowell, arrived to offer his unique perspective at X Factor auditions in Manchester, England. The UK auditions are underway, but in the US we have to wait until Fall 2011 to get our dose of Simon Cowell. In the meantime, we are still waiting to hear who will replace Simon Cowell on American Idol. Sadly, he can never really be replaced!

Penny Lancaster showed off her animal magic behind the camera to snap her celebrity pals with their pets. Model Lancaster took ‘Pet Pawtraits’ of fiancée Rod Stewart, Sir Elton John, Simon Cowell and Lulu with their furry friends. The celebrity pictures will appear in a 2007 fundraising calendar for British veterinary charity PDSA. The British celebrities, who all posed for free, were shot with their pets by stunning Penny at their own homes. It was the first assignment for trained shooter Lancaster, 35, since the birth of her son Alastair last year. The portraits will also appear in a week-long exhibition at London’s Mall Galleries.

Britain’s Got Talent season 2 winner, street dancer George Sampson is seen here signing autographs for fans. This adorable guy won the hearts of many as he competed in 2007 but in spite of Simon Cowell’s favoritism did not make it through. He re-appeared the next season with better routines and allot of drive. The “prize” for the winner of the show was 100k pounds and the opportunity to perform at the 2008 royal variety performance in front of Prince Charles. This guy made a huge impact the second time around and his story is just phenomenal all the while being grateful to his mother who raises him and wanting to win the money to help pay off her mortgage. Be prepared to see allot of this adorable dancer as he makes his way with Simon Cowell backing him!
