Maksim Chmerkovskiy was all business as he arrived at the Dancing With the Stars studios in Los Angeles for practice with his partner, Kirstie Alley, who surprised the judges with her cha cha on the DWTS premiere. “Ahhhh…no rest for the wicked..our next dance is QUICK STEP and believe me…it is like the damn BUNNY HOP!! got work really hard on this 1,” Kirstie Alley tweeted about their next performance.

Dancing With the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy sizzled at the Alzheimer’s Association’s 19th annual “A Night at Sardi’s” in Beverly Hills. Maksim Chmerkovskiy took the stage along with his fellow DWTS hoofer Cheryl Burke to accompany Vanessa Williams as she crooned to the star-studded crowd.

Contestants from past seasons of DWTS were hot to trot at the shindig including Gilles Marini, Kelly Osbourne, Erin Andrews, Kathy Ireland, Stacy Keibler and Drew Lachey.

Watching Maksim swivel his hips keeps us tuning into Dancing With the Stars every week! The charismatic Maksim Chmerkovskiy was engaged to fellow dancer Karina Smirnoff but they broke it off. Reportedly, this fall when Dancing With the Stars returns, Karina will be back on the show and the couple will dance together on the premiere to put all gossip about leftover friction to rest.
