Father and daughter duo, Steven Tyler and Liv Tyler, got close during the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood. The new American Idol judge rocked out with a slew of celebs after the Oscars at the bash that offered noshes like doughnut holes and In-N-Out burgers.

It’s official! The new American Idol judges were finally confirmed in a live webcast hosted by Ryan Seacrest. The next season will have new judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez joining Randy Jackson in what promises to be a fresh and unique twist on American Idol, which was frankly starting to show its age.

Steven Tyler hosted a post concert party at Studio 54 in Las Vegas, where he led onlookers to believe that the rumors are true that he will be a judge on American Idol next season. But there has been no official word from FOX yet about Steven Tyler taking a seat at the judges’ table.
