Pop star Ke$ha posed in a new ad as she joined in PETA’s cause to end Canada’s annual seal slaughter for their pelts which are sold on the international market. The Ke$ha/PETA ad states: “Canada’s nightlife rules, but clubbing seals is cruel and wastes millions of tax dollars. Join us in ending the baby-seal slaughter for good.”

Ke$ha rang in the New Year while catching a ride from Santa when she appeared on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2011. In New York City’s Times Square, Ke$ha treated the freezing fans to some of her catchy tunes including Tik Tok.

Pop star Ke$ha stars in this new ad campaign called 1 for All that fights to protect and support the First Amendment. After studies determined that only about five-percent of Americans knew all five First Amendment rights, 1 for All was founded to promote and educate the public.

Ke$ha stole the show with her mile-high faux-hawk when she arrived for Us Weekly‘s Hot Hollywood “Stars Who Care” event held at the Colony Club in Los Angeles. “Even when I do dress up it’s never like a pretty girl. I think it’s more interesting to have a little of your [own] style in anything,” Ke$ha revealed to Us Weekly. Young Hollywood turned up in droves for the event including Paris and Nicky Hilton, Kelly Osbourne, Whitney Port, Katie Cassidy, Chris Brown and Nelly.
