Alanis Morissette welcomed a Christmas baby when she gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on December 25. The 36-year-old Canadian singer married Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway in May and revealed her pregnancy in August. Congrats to the happy new parents!

Alanis Morissette posted this pic of her henna-covered baby bump on Twitter saying, “Some rituals surprise in the heart-warming department.” In some cultures, henna is applied as part of a pregnancy ritual during the seventh or eighth month. The 36-year-old singer recently confirmed that she is expecting a baby boy with her hubby Mario “MC Souleye” Treadway in early 2011.

Alicia Silverstone and Alanis Morissette were all smiles as they met up for dinner in West Hollywood. The two vegan friends spent time together at the Urth Caffe after checking out the Bodhi Tree Bookstore. Alanis Morissette, who is due this winter, showed off her growing baby bump in jeans and a stretchy black top under a leopard print blouse.
