Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet at the Los Angeles premiere of Paramount Vantage’s ‘Revolutionary Road’ held at Mann Village Theater in Westwood, California.
Revolutionary Road
Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Kathy Bates, and Sean Cullen. Directed by Sam Mendes (Kate Winslet’s husband)
April and Frank Wheeler are a young, thriving couple living with their two children in a Connecticut suburb in the mid-1950s. Their self-assured exterior masks a creeping frustration at their inability to feel fulfilled in their relationships or careers. Frank is mired in a well-paying but boring office job, and April is a housewife still mourning the demise of her hoped-for acting career. Determined to identify themselves as superior to the mediocre sprawl of suburbanites who surround them, they decide to move to France where they will be better able to develop their true artistic sensibilities, free of the consumerist demands of capitalist America. As their relationship deteriorates into an endless cycle of squabbling, jealousy and recriminations, their trip and their dreams of self-fulfillment are thrown into jeopardy.

Will, Willow, Jaden and Jada Pinkett Smith at the New York premiere of the new film ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’ held at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square Theatre, NYC.
Recommended Movies - I had the pleasure of most recently seeing “Hancock” I had heard it was based off of a comic book or something to that figure so I never bothered with it when it was in the theatres. I truly loved this movie and was surprised it didn’t seem to do better than it did in the box office! The story is based off of this loser drunk who happens to have super powers. Hates it when people call him the “a” word (I am sure you can figure out the rest of the 7 letter naughty word!) and doesn’t care what messes he makes or how he looks while he tries to save others and stop criminals he destroys half of the city without a care. He eventually saves someones life who changes his life in return forever. I loved the movie and it ended welll but definitely made me wish there was more!

Celine Dion plays at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. This picture is just hilarious and its not her first “funny moment” kind of picture as she frequently makes these hilarious faces while performing! If anything I would attend a concert just for the sheer laughs I would get watching her facial expressions!
Fun Facts about Celine Dion - Celine Dion is the youngest of 14 children! Celine Dion’s manager mortgaged his home to help launch her career. They later married in 1994 Celine Dion is 26 years younger than her husband! Her husband was also accused of sexual assault in Las vegas in 2000 he later paid the woman around 2 million dollars yet never admitted to fault the accuser and her husband were later arrested for trying to extort money over a false claim (like this isn’t the first time that has happened to a celebrity or their spouse!).

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ premiere in Westwood, California.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: a man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time. We follow his story, set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918, into the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any mans life can be. Directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett with Taraji P. Henson, Tilda Swinton, Jason Flemyng, Elias Koteas and Julia Ormond, Benjamin Button, is a grand tale of a not-so-ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way, the loves he finds, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what lasts beyond time.- courtesy of IMDb

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes take Suri Cruise to FAO Schwarz. The couple were buying games and toys to donate to Stockings with Care, a nonprofit organization that gives presents to needy children.
From the website Stockingswithcare.org
Stockings with Care is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making sure that families in need have everything they need to create the magic of Christmas morning for their kids. Last year, Stockings with Care played Santa to over 2000 kids. For us, it ’s about opening hearts, inspiring dreams and preserving the dignity of parents and their families.
Stockings with Care works with coalitions that assist families either living in homeless shelters or who are in jeopardy of becoming homeless and can not afford to celebrate their holiday. Social workers at each of these coalitions work with the parents to make their wish lists. These lists are passed on to Stockings with Care. Through the generosity of our individual Santas, private and corporate donors and a small army of volunteers, we make sure that every child gets at least two things on their list and that each child has at least three gifts to open on Christmas morning. Thousands of gifts are wrapped and delivered to the parents, empowering them to create magic for their kids.
Of course, lots of kids ask for what every kids wants - toys. But there are an equal number of requests for life’s essentials. Clothes. Books. Strollers, Diapers. One year, a child even asked for dog food so that they didn’t have to give up the family dog that they could no longer afford. We delivered a year’s supply of dog food.
HISTORY
Stockings With Care was founded in 1992 by Rosalie Joseph and Tom Fontana. And every year since then, sometime in early October, we come together to make this happen. There is no office. There are no salaries. Members have even donated their phone numbers for the two months leading up to the holidays. 100% of the money we raise and 100% of our volunteers’ efforts go to our kids.
