True Blood star Sam Trammell, who plays shape shifter Sam Merlotte on the HBO vampire show, helped to design a special T-shirt to benefit the Red Cross. All the proceeds from the “Blood Donor” shirt, which Sam Trammell is promoting on his website, will go to the Red Cross to support their efforts in the Japanese disaster.

Pop star Ke$ha posed in a new ad as she joined in PETA’s cause to end Canada’s annual seal slaughter for their pelts which are sold on the international market. The Ke$ha/PETA ad states: “Canada’s nightlife rules, but clubbing seals is cruel and wastes millions of tax dollars. Join us in ending the baby-seal slaughter for good.”

Stunning couple Josh Duhamel and Fergie stepped out for the 2011 American Red Cross Red Tie Affair held at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica. After organizing Red Cross runs benefiting Japan and Haiti, Josh Duhamel was honored with the Red Cross Spirit Award while a beaming Fergie looked on. “I’m so proud, because a few tragedies have happened and [Josh] just got up and had this idea to create a run,” said Fergie. “It’s really attractive that [my] husband thinks of these things.”
