Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp were spotted having a romantic night in Rome, Italy. The couple, who have been dating since last year, walked the streets of Rome and held hands and kissed.

Mellencamp is in the process of divorcing his ex, Elaine Irwin, after 18 years of marriage.

Meg Ryan looked elegant in a dark blue, strapless Armani gown at the Metropolitan Opera Season Opening of their new production of Das Rheingold at New York’s Lincoln Center. The opera drew a star-studded crowd including Vera Farmiga, Christine Baranski, Kerry Washington, Anjelica Huston and Patricia Clarkson.
