The movie was supposed to be released in 2008, but the production company shot down pushing back the release. “We went to the Berlin Film festival [in 2008] with it and walked the red carpet there, and the fact that we’re here now celebrating its opening is really cool. It’s a walk through the past,” said Hayden.

Julia Roberts wears a ruffled black dress paired with a layered diamond necklace at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie, Fireflies in the Garden. The movie, which co-stars Ryan Reynolds and Hayden Panettiere, was supposed to be released in 2008 before getting pushed back after the production company shut down.

“A moment like this takes patience and effort,” Roberts told ET. “Making a small film is harder than it used to be.”

Cher, who stars in the upcoming Burlesque, stepped out for the 2010 Glamour Magazine Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall in New York City where she picked up the Lifetime Achievement Award. On the red carpet, the legendary Cher told MTV News: “It seems like I should be here presenting, because ‘lifetime achievement,’ I don’t know, it seems like it should be for something more than just doing my work, for doing the work that I’ve done. I’m an entertainer…it just seems like it should be someone more.”

Julia Roberts was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award while a video showed some of her greatest scenes from films like Pretty Woman and Erin Brockovich, for which she won an Academy Award.
