A UFO expert enlists the help of a cabbie to protect two siblings with paranormal powers from the clutches of an organization that wants to use the kids for their nefarious plans.
A movie that follows suit to the 1975 “Escape to Witch Mountain” definitely cannot be described exactly as a remake but an extension of the original film. With Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) as Jack Bruno a Las Vegas cab driver who protects the paranormal siblings when they end up in his taxi, AnnaSophia Robb (Bridge to Terabithia, Because of Winn-Dixie) as Sara the paranormal twin sister to Seth (Alexander Ludwig, The Seeker: The Dark is Rising) who also has his own set of powers and Carla Gugino ( Son in Law, The Watchmen) as a a discredited astrophysicist.
