The recently engaged America Ferrera stars in The Dry Land, which was written and directed by her fiance, Ryan Piers Williams. The Dry Land tells the story of a man who returns home from war and has trouble reconnecting with his old life.

At the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Jason Ritter, America Ferrera and Wilmer Valderrama posed for The Dry Land premiere. The Dry Land is about a young man (Ryan O’Nan) who returns from the Iraq war and struggles to reconnect with his wife (America Ferrera) and former life in Texas. The Dry Land is in theaters July 30 and promises to be a moving film.
