Tom Hanks, taking a break from his starring and directing of Larry Crowne with Julia Roberts, headed out to the El Capitan Theater, in Hollywood, to celebrate the remarkable return of the toys in Toy Story 3.

The 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards  were held on September 21st at the brand new Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California. They were hosted by Ryan Seacrest, Tom Bergeron, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Jeff Probst. All 5 hosts were nominated for Outstanding Host for a Reality Show or Reality Competition. For the first time in the Primetime Emmy Awards history the academy released ten finalists for Outstanding Comedy and Drama Series categories. Presenting awards through the night were Christina Applegate, Candice Bergen, Jimmy Kimmel, Kiefer Sutherland. A few of the winners through the night were Jean Smart, Laura Linney, Sydney Pollack, Don Rickles, and Paul Giamatti .
