Russell Crowe and his wife, Danielle Spencer, didn’t have to go too far from home for the Australian premiere of The Next Three Days in Sydney. Recently, Russell Crowe stated that he will take a break from the cameras for a bit to focus on his production company. “I don’t really have any plans to go overseas and make any movies this year. We’ve got a lot of things going on in Australia and I need to spend some time here to solidify and build,” Crowe said.

At a press conference in Sydney, Russell Crowe announced that he will be the narrator in a stadium-sized adaptation of Ben Hur. The event will take place for two nights only at a Sydney stadium in October and will feature over 200 cast members, a Roman amphitheatre, chariot races and a sea battle. Ticket sales should be phenomenal, especially since Russell Crowe’s big announcement.
