Diane Lane and Josh Brolin stepped out for a special screening of True Grit at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills. True Grit is the upcoming movie from the Coen brothers which stars Josh Brolin, Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon and will arrive in theaters December 22.

Shia LaBeouf, Josh Brolin and Michael Douglas star in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps which hits the big screen on September 24. This sequel to the 1987 movie picks up with Michael Douglas’ character Gordon Gekko after his lengthy prison stint. Gekko attempts to warn others of impending economic doom and also tries to reconcile with his daughter, played by Carey Mulligan.

90210 star AnnaLynne McCord stepped out for the Artists of Peace and Justice fundraiser held during the Toronto Film Festival. The celebrities showed off their artistic talents as they painted and left colorful messages on banners in support of devastated Haiti and raised nearly $100,000 for the cause.

Josh Brolin attended the New York premiere of The Tillman Story, a documentary about the tragedy of football star Pat Tillman. Soon after September 11, Pat Tillman walked away from a football contract to join the military and was sadly killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan. Josh Brolin lends his voice as the narrator in The Tillman Story, which will be in limited release starting August 20.

It’s easy to see where actor Josh Brolin gets his good looks — from dad, James Brolin, who produced Standing Ovation. At the premiere of Standing Ovation, in University City in California, Josh Brolin and James Brolin’s wife, Barbra Streisand, offered their support and made it a family affair. The movie is about a group of tweens who compete in a video contest and is similar to High School Musical, complete with singing and dancing.
