The stars came out to support their furry friends at PETA’s 30th Anniversary Gala and Humanitarian Awards at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California. Glee‘s Lea Michele walked the red carpet in this stunning white gown along with other attendees including Alec Baldwin, Pamela Anderson, Stephanie Pratt, Jenna Dewan, Sophia Bush, Eva Mendes, Kellan Lutz and Kelly Osbourne.

Joaquin Phoenix attends the ‘Two Lovers’ Screening Celebrity Arrivals In Manhattan, NYC.

Joaquin Phoenix has been pretty busy lately as he retired from the big screen to work on a musical career. After this was announced his brother in law Casey Affleck began filming a documentary about Joaquin Phoenix attemping a career as a rapper. Many people have speculated claiming its most likely a hoax however Joaquin Phoenix and Casey Affleck both have claimed otherwise. His latest stint was in a nightclub where he began rapping and then fell on the stage. You could hear alot of booing , his rapping and then see him fall off stage courtesy of Youtube where many people have had a great kick out of the whole fiasco. Many still think its really a hoax or hope and took Joaquin Phoenix for a country or rock type of musician after his performances in “Walk The Line” where along with Reese Witherspoon, Joaquin Phoenix also lended his vocal talents to the movie.

Joaquin Phoenix at the 2008 AFI Fest writes “Good Bye!” on his knuckles essentially showing how true it is to the rumors that he is leaving the acting scene for music! I for one cant wait to hear what this man will do music wise! Joaquin Phoenix did all of the music on his movie “Walk The Line” about Johnny Cash and if that is any inclination of this mans voice everyone will be very pleased! Question is will he hit the country circuit or something no one expects?

Joaquin Phoenix has graced the screen with his presence since the mid 1980′s when he was also known as “Leaf Phoenix” he is the younger brother of the late River Phoenix who died early morning October 31st 1993 of a drug overdose. Joaquin has appeared in movies such as “Parenthood”, “Inventing the Abbotts”, “Gladiator”, “Signs”, “The Village”, and most recently “Walk the Line” in 2005,  and in 2007 “We Own the Night”.

Currently he has the movie “Two Lover’s” alongside Gwyneth Paltrow and Vinessa Shaw. -  A Brooklyn-set romantic drama about a bachelor (Phoenix) torn between the family friend his parents wish he would marry and his beautiful but volatile new neighbor.
