Bernie Mac beloved comedian and actor passed away this weekend due to complications from pneumonia. He is survived by his wife, daughter and grand-daughter. Bernie Mac has appeared in movies such as “Oceans Eleven”, “Guess Who” alongside Ashton Kutcher and also is one of the original members of “The Kings Of Comedy” alongside Cedric The Entertainer.

Comedian Bernie Mac has died at age 50 from complications due to pneumonia. Bernie Mac died August 9 2008 in a Chicago hospital where he was hospitalized due to his pneumonia. A few years ago, Mac disclosed that he suffered from sarcoidosis, a rare autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in tissue, most often in the lungs. Bernie Mac has a film career spanning from the early 90’s in movies such as “Guess Who”, The Players Club, Oceans Eleven (including sequels Oceans Twelve and Thirteen), Bad Santa and most recently Transformers. Bernie Mac was an actor and comedian and was apart of “The Original Kings of Comedy” alongside Cedric The Entertainer and Steve Harvey. He leaves behind a wife, daughter and granddaughter along with many fans.
