Teen star and pop singer Hilary Duff appearing on Law and Order: SVU no doubt a spot to get her more “out there on tv” for when her new television show hits the screen titled “Barely Legal” and is based on the true story of Kathleen Holtz, who passed the California bar exam in 2007 at age 18 to become the state’s youngest lawyer..

Law and Order: SVU is centered on Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni’s characters “Benson and Stabler” who work in the Special Victim’s Unit in New York City, a department that deals with sexually based crimes.  The show can be seen on the network NBC and stars Mariska Hargitay, Christopher Meloni, Ice-T, Dann Florek, Adam Beach, Diane Neal, and B.D Wong.
