Arnold Schwarzenegger visits son Christopher in hospital

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his family, including Patrick Schwarzenegger, visit son Christopher in the hospital after a surfing accident last week left him badly injured.

Christopher, 13, suffered a collapsed lung, broken bones and broken ribs while surfing on a Malibu beach. His mom, Maria Shriver, was with him and got him immediate medical attention.

“A few days ago our son Christopher suffered an accident at the beach,” Maria and Arnold say in a joint statement. “While it has been a very scary week, Christopher is surrounded by his family and friends. He is a brave boy and is expected to make a full recovery.”
