Charlize Theron, wearing a Gucci dress and Tom Ford shoes, was honored at the IFP Gotham Independent Film Awards sponsored by euphoria Calvin Klein. Theron was spotting munching on a plate of bread, cake and cheese fondue before accepting a career achievement award.
“I’m horrible at these things. I find myself so overwhelmed. Can’t believe that’s how my life turned out. I am living my dream — all I ever wanted was to pay my rent by acting,” she said during her acceptance speech. “This is definitely not a journey you take alone so I want to say thanks to the gorgeous blond at my table — my mother.”
