Gary Coleman, comedian/actor/reality star who resided in Utah where he met his wife while filming a movie, and famous for his role in “Different Strokes” passed away today at age 42 after a fall rendered him in critical condition.

Gary Coleman May 27th 2010 apparently injured himself in a fall, and is now in critical condition with some sources citing he is on life support at a Utah hospital close to his home (His wife he met while filming a movie there). Gary Coleman played on the popular TV show “Different Strokes” also appearing in several television ads, roles and movies as well.

These shocking photos on 50 Cent’s official website show the dramatic weight loss the star went through to play a cancer victim in a new movie.The images posted on ThisIs50.com show a gaunt, boney head almost unrecognizable as the rapper famed for his muscular physique.The rapper went through the dramatic weight loss to play an American football player diagnosed with cancer in Things Fall Apart, a movie he also wrote. “I lost 54 pounds for it,” 50 said of his role, inspired by a friend of his who died of cancer. “I was starving.”
