Rumors and Rants: Recently Rihanna “broke her silence” about the whole Chris Brown/Rihanna beating and of course to ironically promote her new album. Am I the only one who remember photos of Rihanna AFTER the beating of her and Chris Brown together on a boat, plus many others?. I am sure the promotion/breaking silence was the idea of Jay-Z like he doesn’t have enough cash already with Beyonce at his side.

More fans than ever are heading to the real-life Twilight town with the release of the latest installment in the vampire saga New Moon. Visitors are flocking to Forks in Washington – the setting for the hit series – where they can get guided tours and fill their cameras with snaps of key locations from the books. The movies were not filmed in Forks, but tourism chiefs have created their own themed attractions to represent the places from the ‘Twilight’ fantasy world of author Stephanie Meyer. Guided tours take fans from all over the world to the local high school, where Bella Swan first falls for vampire Edward Cullen, and the pair’s family homes.
They also go to the home of Edward’s love rival Jacob Black and First Beach in La Push, where Bella jumps off a cliff in New Moon. Other locations on the list are the police station and hospital where Bella and Edward’s fathers work and the treaty line where vampires are not allowed to cross into werewolf territory.
The Forks Visitor Centre and Chamber of Commerce has helped feed Twilight fans’ hunger with a replica of Bella’s 1953 truck. The Twilight tour is run by ‘Dazzled By Twilight’, set up by fan Annette Root who moved to rainy Forks after being bitten by Twilight fever herself.

Most recently poor Fergie and hubby Josh Duhamel have been hit by the tabloids pretty hard with a woman claiming she was picked up by and had sexual relations one night with Fergie’s new husband Josh Duhamel just hours after having dinner with Fergie. The claims have been vehemently denied by Fergie and her husband while the “other woman” (if you can really call her a woman) has been having fun with the press even sharing how her poor teenage son has been teased and taunted by schoolmates over her having sex with a married man let alone Fergie’s husband and actor Josh Duhamel ( Las Vegas (the series), Transformers, Transformers: Rise of the Fallen). Hopefully the adorable celebrity couple can keep it together where so many celebrity couples have fallen.

Recommended Movie: Love, Actually – `Love Actually,’ a romantic comedy, is a series of love stories of several people from the Prime Minister to a rock star, an actor stand-in, a housemaid, and others. In the movie Robert Pattinson plays the brooding vampire Edward Cullen who abandons his love Bella Swan after a small paper cut almost cost Bella her life. Robert Pattinson definitely seems a bit bulkier in this movie although I was a bit put off by a weird bruise or hickie  that he had during a scene with his shirt off. Hopefully it was just a fluke because you would think someone would have put makeup on it or something. Of course as you expect in the movie you do not see much of the Cullen clan period but they make a impact none the less. More or less they stuck pretty decently to the original “story” when it came to the vampire family.

Taylor Lautner at the NYC premiere of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”. Taylor plays Jacob Black in the movie, a crucial character and storyline that shapes the next 2 books because not only is he a werewolf but he is in love with Bella, his pack of werewolf friends are not only his brothers but his enemies as well when it comes to his feelings towards Bella and her reputation to run with vampires. So I was extremely disappointed to find that it seemed Jacob and the story of his Pack seemed to be lost in the hype and drabness of the movie. One could only hope they have some extended version this movie could have benefited greatly with the information that they left out and just a extra 50 minutes. It wouldn’t be the first and certainly not the last 3 hour movie!

Kristen Stewart at the premiere of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” in NYC. Kristen plays Bella Swan the brooding teenager who finds and falls in love with a equally brooding vampire. Not only that but she has a knack to attract danger as well. Kristen Stewart’s performance was exactly as expected, drab, boring and moody exactly what Bella is supposed to be right? I have to admit though I could not see Bella Swan in any form regardless.

Ashley Greene attending the NYC premiere of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”. Ashley Greene’s performance as the pixie-esque vampire Alice Cullen who also has visions adds some much needed animation to the film. However I was extremely disappointed that they had to chop up some of her parts as well.
