Recommended movies :  I highly recommend “Where The Heart Is” which also stars Ashley Judd, the movie is a great “chick flick” and is based off the best selling novel. The movie is about a girl who is pregnant named Novalee Nation who is abandoned one day by her boyfriend as she runs into a Wal-Mart to buy a new pair of shoes. Without giving much more away the movie is definitely a must-see! Also watch out for Natalie Portman’s upcoming film titled “New York, I Love You”.

Reccomended Movies : Untraceable is a definite must see movie that involves a serial killer and a website called watchmekill.com the killer taunts authorities and offers its viewers to vote on the website whether or not the victim should die.  I also recommend for the not so squeamish the movie “Jumper” while Diane Lane does have a small part in the movie she plays it well and the end leaves you pretty positive that there will be more!

Sean Penn took home an Academy Award for best Actor in a Leading Role for his role in “Milk” the story of California’s first openly gay elected official, Harvey Milk, a San Francisco supervisor who was assassinated along with Mayor George Moscone by San Francisco Supervisor Dan White.

Kate Winslet took home an Academy Award for best Actress in a Leading Role for her role in “The Reader” where she has an affair with a much younger man and then runs into him while defending herself in a war-crime trial.

Penelope Cruz took home an Academy Award for best Actress in a Supporting Role, for her role in Vicky Christina Barcelona as Maria Elena.
